Emily Mackay, a senior at Binghamton, won her 1,500-meter semifinal heat in 4:21.44 at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Mackay advanced to her first career 1,500 final after finishing seventh in the 5,000 championship race last year.
